PENGARUH IMPLEMENTASIJOYFULL LEARNING PADA MATAPELAJARAN PAI TERHADAP KARAKTER KEMANDIRIAN SISWA KELAS XII DI SMA MUHAMMADIYAH BANTUL
Abstract
This study aims to find out the effect of joyful based learning method usage in Islamic Education subject on the independence characteristic of grade XII students at SMA MuhammadiyahBantul. The population was the grade XII students of SMA MuhammadiyahBantul period 2017/2018. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling which covered class XII IPA 1 and XII IPA 2. These two classes have implemented joyful based learning method. This study was a quantitative research type expost facto.
The data gathering technique that used are interview, questionnaire and documentation method. The data analysis used is statistical technique. There were two statistical techniques that used to analyze the data, descriptive statistic and inferential statistic. The validity test that used is Pearson’s Product Moment correlational formula.
Result shows that the frequency of joyful learningtendency in a medium category,that is 86 % students. It is found that 35 % students have high independence characteristic tendency and 65 % have medium independence characteristic tendency. Therefore,there is a significant correlation between joyful learning method and the independence characteristic. The result on ttest 4,030 and ttabel obtained 2,019. From the explanation, can be implied that thitung have more value than ttable (4,030 > 2,019). Thus, there is a significant effect towards independent character.
