      Abstract
The research is aimed at finding out types of contractual disputes in Indonesian football and the settlement for the disputes and analyzing the urgency of the establishment of the National Dispute Resolution Chamber for football dispute settlement in Indonesia. The research provides insight of legal knowledge and information on private law in sport and the existence of sport law, especially related to football regulation and organization, proposes a better contractual dispute settlement of Indonesian football, and offers comparative studies for other sports disputes settlement body such as PSSI, BAORI and BAKI. Besides, it also gives an overview for alternative choice to settle down the contractual dispute among professional footballer and professional club. The research was conducted by using normative legal research which is based on the library research, focusing on reading and analyzing the primary and secondary law materials. The results of research indicate that there have been several sport or football dispute settlement bodies in Indonesia such as BAORI, BAKI and PSSI. Those bodies, however, are still insufficient as they cannot fulfill the impartiality, independency and low-cost arbitration proceedings. It is recommended to establish the National Dispute Resolution Chamber (NDRC) which functions to provide low cost arbitration to all parties and to confirm that all disputes will be settled down.
