This research aims to investigate the comparison of the use of labors, income, and rice farm profit using Tapin, Tabela and Tabela Minapadi system at Dusun Jowahan Sumberagung Moyudan Sleman and to find out the farmers’ reasons in implementing Tapin while having Tabela. The samples in this study are all the farmers who have used Tabela, and they are 35 farmers. The primary data collection are using interview and questionnaire. The result of the study shows that Tabela Minapadi system has the smallest amount of the labors which is 6.50 HKSP/1000 m2 followed by Tabela system which is 8.10 HKSP/1000 m2, and Tapin system is 10.18 HKSP/1000 m2. Besides, the income and benefits of Tabela Minapadi are Rp 1.800.000,00 and Rp 1.300.000,00 followed by Tabela system with Rp 1.400.000,00 and Rp 894.000,00 then Tapin system are Rp 879.000,00 and Rp 421.000,00. In addition, the farmers’ reasons to use Tapin system are because the challenges in replacing dead rice seedlings with new ones and the growth of weeds comparing with Tabela system. In the other hand, the farmers who still use Tabela system are because Tabela system economizes the labor, the plant and the seed cost, then it could increase the farmers’ income.
