      Abstract
      The growing of motor vehicles in very year, such as data in 2012 the number of vehicles reached 94.373.324 units. The increasing of motor vehicles has an impact on the increasing of tire waste that will be generated. Tire is one of the materials that is difficult to degrade naturally by bacteria, so it need for proper processing in order to reduce bad effect for the environment. Otherwise, the increase of motor vehicles also effects the increasing consumption of fuel oil while petroleum while petroleum fuel supply is getting thinner. This study aims to treat tire waste into tire oil by pyrolysis method, where the result was obtained can be as alternative fuel replacement BBM. This pyrolysis experiment using 3 kg of materials the motorcycle tire waste. Every the experiment uses 1 kg of tire waste that has been cut to 12x5 cm of size. The temperature was used in the test is 300⁰C-350⁰C using a heater from a gas stove. The flow rate of coolant water was 6 LPM, with variations of condenser angle was 0⁰, 15⁰, and 30⁰. The time was required for testing 1 kg of tire waste were 100 minutes. The results showed that the highest heat tranfer rate was obtained at the angle of 30⁰ was 339.59 Watt, the angle of 15⁰ was 296.64 Watt and the angle 0⁰ was 254.01 Watt. The production of 1 kg of tire waste material for each experiment, the highest oil production was obtained in the 30⁰ angle experiment producing 374 ml of oil and 406 gr ash residue. While the angle experiment 0⁰ yielded 329 ml of oil and the remaining 465 gr of ash, and in the experiment corner of 15⁰ yielded 352 ml oil and the remaining 430 gr of ash. The characteristics of pyrolysis tire oil obtained density value of 0,898 gr/ml, viscosity value of 5,07-5,57 mPa.s, calorific value of 10007,29 Cal/g, and flash point of 55-58 ⁰C.
