Time passes by and technology advances. The Islamic Preaching (dakwah) conducted has become easier. Nowadays, there are several sinetron (soap operas) that show Islamic values such as “Cahaya Hati”. Most soap operas air in prime time where the most children study or recite Al-Qur’an. The research aimed at investigating whether there was an impact of “Cahaya Hati” soap opera and how big the impact was toward the akhlak (morality) of the children in Desa (village) Kutoanyar since the children there were very keen on watching television. The data collected were quantitative data by using observation, questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis was descriptive statistic. In order to see the effect , SPSS 22 was used by using several tests, namely normality, linear regression test, and partial test. The result of the research indicated that there was a significant impact toward the akhlak of the children in Desa Kutoanyar.
