      Abstract
      The threat of environmental damage and scarcity prompted humans to utilize renewable energy sources. Biogas is one source of renewable energy. Its easy manufacturing process allows biogas to be produced in areas where energy access difficulties. The location of the research was conducted in two places namely in dusun Kalipucang, desa Bangunjiwo, kec. Kasihan, kab. Bantul and second in dusun Ngentak, desa Poncosari, kec. Srandakan, kab. Bantul Modify generator sets by changing the mixture of air and fuel settings on the carburetor. To reduce the impurities of CO2, H2O and H2S, the biogas purification process using a zeofilter. Spesification generator set capasity 1200 Watt with fuel consumption of 1.5 liter/hour. There is a decrease in maximum power capable of removal of 180 Watt in the first location and 720 Watt in the second location. Fuel consumption of gasoline at 180 Watt load of 0,499 liters/hour while the fuel biogas 0.136 m3/hour or equivalent to 136 liters/hour.
