      Abstract
Drifting is a driving technique in which the driver tries to make the vehicle in a sloping position and sliding for as long as possible. The performance of the vehicle is one of the factors that trigger the emergence of every innovation that existed among automotive world lovers. For example, the performance of a vehicle. With a slight modification of Noken As (Camshaft) on the valve mechanism, it can have an impact on the performance of a vehicle. The valve mechanism has an enormous influence on engine performance and the characteristics of the engine itself. In the process of developing the valve mechanism in the improvement of vehicle performance is done by trimming the Base Circle to raise the height of the Noken As (Camshaft) lift which can affect the opening duration of the valve cover so that the vehicle performance increases. The trimming process is done by reducing the Base Circle part starting from 0.5mm to 1.5mm as needed. To know the machine performance change, it is done by using Dynotest testing. The test results using Dynotest can read the car power and car performance, the results of the testing shows that the power produced after the development of valve mechanism is 30.3 HP when compared with before the development which is 22.6 HP.
