PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN CDI DAN KOIL RACING PADA BUSI STANDAR TERHADAP KARAKTERISTIKAN PERCIKAN BUNGA API DAN KINERJA MOTOR MEGAPRO 160CC BERBAHAN BAKAR PERTALITE
Abstract
In Indonesia, motorcycles are the most popular means of transportation. Besides, to support the good engine performance required better fuel. To get the maximum results it is necessary also a perfect ignition. One of them by replacing the CDI and Coil parts on a 160 cc motor with a fuel pertalite. Because in general people just replace the part alone without knowing the power and torque and the influence of its part in the long term.
To know the effect of using CDI BRT Dual Band and Blue Thuander coil, it was done on a 4 step 160 cc motor to know sparks, power, torque and fuel consumption of variations. The test is carried out at 4000 - 10000 RPM for power and torque testing. As for testing fuel consumption is done at speeds of +/- 40 km / h with the fuel dose using 500 ml measuring cup.
The results of this study indicate that the best spark sparks are produced by CDI BRT Dual Band with Blue Thuander Coil because the sparks are constant with a temperature of 7000 - 8000 K. The largest torque is found on Standard CDI variation with Standard Coil at round 7343 RPM with torque of 13.29 Nm The highest power is 13.9 HP at 7461 RPM with Standard CDI and Standard Coil variations. As for the fuel consumption is low on the variation of CDI BRT Dual Band with Koil Standard of 51.02 km / liter.
