The library of Masjid Gedhe Kauman Yogyakarta in 1995 was awarded as the best library in Yogyakarta. Now, the library is start to revitalize and activate the program since 2015 after long time vacuum. It is a challenging defiance to be the best library as in last 1995. The program is starting by all the boards and the volunteers of the library of Masjid Gedhe Kauman currently. They start to do improvement, enhancement, book collection and service improvement and doing enhancement in promoting of the library. Because of the book collection and library management system which are still manual, the researcher has initiative to make a skripsi research with the title “SYSTEM INFORMATION DESIGN of MASJID GEDHE KAUMAN LIBRARY BASED ON ASP.NET MVC” in order to contribute in doing improvement, enhancement, and service improvement of Masjid Gedhe Kauman library. The research methodology used in creating this website is SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) with Waterfall process model. The language programing used is C# with ASP.NET MVC 4 framework and HTML. The appearance uses CSS3 and jQuery. The database uses Microsoft SQL Server. The tools used are Microsoft Visual Studio Enterprise 2015 and Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio. Hopefully, this application is able to be a good management system in the library such as doing book collection process, borrowing and returning the book, doing data collection of every visitor, and doing book mapping in every bookshelf in the library. The researcher hopes that this result of the research will give positive benefit in the Masjid Gedhe Kauman Library’s System.
