This research is aimed at identifying management mechanism, productive zakat funds empowerment pattern and zakat funds distribution’s impact toward the economic improvement of stock farmers in Master Farming Program at LAZIS Waqf Agency Institute of Islamic University of Indonesia (LAZIS YBW UII). The subjects of this research were LAZIS Waqf Agency Institute of Islamic University of Indonesia (LAZIS YBW UII) along with its network which includes management and programs’ PIC and also the rolling capital’s recipients of master farming program. The research was a field research with qualitative approach. The sampling techniques used in the research were observation, interview and documentation. The result indicated that First, the distribution model of productive zakat through master farming empowerment program contributes to the betterment of mustahiq’s (zakat recipients) economic. Besides, creative human resource whose determination is to continuously progress is one key among others toward the program success. Such goal might be achieved once mentoring and coaching on skill and religion are provided. Second, the impact of this empowerment program can’t solely be seen from their income increase but can also be seen from their skill, entrepreneurship and knowledge related to breeding practice.
