      Abstract
      Latar Belakang: Prevalensi gangguan jiwa berat nasional menurut Riskesdas pada tahun 2013 yaitu sebesar 14,1 % penduduk Indonesia mengalami gangguan jiwa dari ringan hingga berat. Prevalensi gangguan jiwa berat paling tinggi ternyata terjadi di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY). Kurangnya dukungan keluarga sangat berdampak pada respon emosional pada pasien skizofrenia. Pemulihan pasien skizofrenia dapat dipantau dengan berbagai alat ukur, salah satunya menggunakan lembar observasi Skor Brief Psychiatric Rating Scale (BPRS). Metode: Jenis penelitian ini adalah non-ekspresimental bersifat deskriptif analitik dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 50 responden dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data tersebut dianalisa dengan uji sperman rank. Hasil: Berdasarkan hasil uji analisis antara dukungan emosional keluarga terhadap skor BPRS diperoleh nilai p = 0,01 (p value < 0,05). Kesimpulan: Terdapat hubungan antara dukungan emosional keluarga terhadap skor BPRS pada pasien skizofrenia di instalasi rawat inap RSJ Grhasia DIY. Emotional support of Family Ties against Score Brief Psyciatric Rating Scale on Schizophrenia Patients in Installation Inpatient RSJ Grhasia DIY Advisers: Puji Sutarjo, S.Kep., Ns Background: The prevalence of the disorder, according to the national weight soul Riskesdas by 2013 i.e. (is equal to) , 14.1% of the population of Indonesia are experiencing psychiatric from mild to severe. The prevalence of the disorder the highest weight of the soul turns out to happen on the special region of Yogyakarta (DIY). Lack of family support is very emotional impact on the response in patients of schizophrenia. Recovery of patients of schizophrenia can be monitored with various measuring instruments, one of which uses the observation sheet Score Brief Psychiatric Rating Scale (BPRS). Method: The type of research is non-ekspresimental are descriptive analytic with cross-sectional approach. A sample of these studies amounted to 50 respondents by using purposive sampling technique. The data were analyzed with the test sperman rank. Results: Based on the analysis of test results between family emotional support against score BPRS retrieved value p = 0.01 (p value < 0.05). Conclusion: There is a relationship between family emotional support against score BPRS on patients of schizophrenia in inpatient Grhasia RSJ installation DIY.
