      Abstract
This study was created with the aim to know the strategies and efforts of the Indonesian government to maintain the stability of palm oil exports after the negative campaign. It is known that Indonesia is one of countries with the largest production income of palm oil in the world. Therefore, Indonesia is one of largest CPO producers in the global market. This can be proven by Rabobank research in 2012, said Indonesia dominated palm oil commodity and has succeeded in producing Indonesia’s own palm oil, contributing 48% and making one of Indonesia’s mainstay commodities. If the process of producing palm oil, almost every year Indonesia expand the land to open palm oil plantations. However, the extension of the land is disputed by many parties (including regional dan international NGOs) Some negative stigma againts Indonesia’s palm oil thrown. Deforestation, for example, in the expansion of Indonesia palm oil plantations is suspected of deforestation by forest burning. The negative campaign is increasingly evolving to continue generating negative public outlook and certanily can threaten the palm oil industry in Indonesia. The Government see tha the issue is a discriminatory act and could threaten Indonesia’s palm oil. Following the campaign, the government had to do something as the issue has a negative impact on decline of palm oil exports by 2015, thus prompting the government to maintain the stability of palm oil exports in the global market, through the strategies that have been designed.
