      Abstract
      The purpose of this research is to explains in detail the conflict dynamics of Sri Lankan civil war between the Sinhala and Tamil. This research will also analyze the efforts of international actors in resolving the prolonged inter-ethnic conflict in Sri Lanka. This research uses two concepts of The Third Party Intervention and Peace-making concept in analyzing the efforts of international actors to create peace in Sri Lanka. In the Third Party Intervention concept, it provides several forms of intervention such as military aids, financial aids, and also humanitarian and reconstruction aids. While in the Peace-making concept, it provides the forms of intervention through mediation, conciliation, facilitation, and also negotiation. This research gives an explanation in detail of how the efforts of international actors to create peace in Sri Lanka civil war during 2000-2009.
