      Abstract
Japan has been in a state of change from before the time of World War II up until today. Japan was an empire at first spreading their territory through out the Asian region and went beyond that. However, the events that led Japan’s decision in WWII cost them their flexibility in maintaining world peace in the future. Article 9 was drafted and put in the constitution as a limitation in order for the Japanese expansionism to be contained. The constitution creates an image that Japan is Country with an un-normal military activity. With the proceedings of time however, the once was a harmless country of North Korea, became very hostile threat that could change how Japan sees their position in terms of friend and foe. This Thesis will explore on how a country can change their policy in regards of the relation between one country and another. Using constructivism as tool in breaking down the notion of the topic and in understanding the issue more better.
