MEDICATION COST ANALYSIS OF CHRONIC KIDNEY DISEASE AS A REVIEW OF INA-CBGs MEDICATION COST IN THIRD CLASS THERAPY RS PKU MUHAMMADIYAH YOGYAKARTA
Abstract
Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) is a chronic and irreversible damage condition of kidney. Hemodialysis and kidney transplantation are expensive but covered by the official Indonesian assurance system, known as Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Sosial (BPJS; Social Security Administrator for Health). The primary aim of this study was to recognize the mean of chronic kidney disease cost on third class therapy PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta hospital and its suitability to the policy of Indonesian Ministry of Health (No. 69/2013). The method of this research was observational crosssectional on hospital perspective. Data was taken using medical record and cost record of patients. Data was analyzed using t-test. The present research used 24 patients. It had 6 codes of the INA-CBGs. These included N-1-12-I, N-1-12-II, N-1-20-I, N-4-10-I, N-4-10-II dan N-4-10-III. The mean of chronic kidney disease therapy in PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta hospital on the third therapy was Rp. 3.731.507 ± 769.003 (N-1-12-I), Rp 9.429.750 ± 2.435.912 (N-1-12-II), Rp 6.012.850 ± 2.679.722 (N-1-20-I), Rp 6.527.600 ± 3.365.969 (N-4-10-II) dan Rp 6.466.600 ± 3.261.495 (N-4-10-III). The result showed that hospital cost and INA-CBGs cost had differences Rp 1.500 (N-1- are 12-I) and Rp 610.831 (N-4-10-III). Both had p-value > 0,05, so it was not statistically different. Based on the research, it can be concluded that hospital cost on third class therapy RS PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta and INA-CBGs cost on the policy of Indonesian Ministry of Health were suitable, especially N-1-12-I and N-4-10-III.
