      Abstract
      Ideal weight is the desire of every human, although they are old or young from the physical appearance side or from the health side. Height and weight measuring instrument is measuring instrument which serves to measure the height and weight of person’s body. To measure height and weight in generally still done by manually, in the case the height and weight measurements were made using different tools. This research aims to create and design height and weight measuring instruments base of arduino with LCD display. The measuring instrument used of ultrasonic to measure the height and used load cell to measure the weight. An ultrasonic sensor the maximum height that can be measured is equal to 198cm and a load cell sensor the maximum weight that can be measured is equal to 100kg. The manufacture of this instruments, all system are controlled by arduino nano. From the research we got the result of the average of weight measuring equal to 61,2kg with average error is 0,27% and the average of height measuring equal to 167,96cm with average error is 0,21%. After the research in generally it can be concluded that the height and weight measuring instrument based of arduino can be used properly and still in tolerance threshold values.
