EVALUASI TEBAL PERKERASAN JALAN DENGAN METODE ANALISA KOMPONEN, METODE ASPHALT INSTITUTE, DAN PROGRAM KENPAVE PADA JALAN GUMENTER - KABUARAN
Abstract
Infrastructure is the primary factor determining the growth of a country. The
development in the infrastructure sector is expected to serve the transportation
needs to support the growth of access and economy, as well as to cope with
increased traffic growth.
This research was conducted on road improvement project on Gumenter-
Kabuaran, Kebumen Sub-district, Kebumen District. The Gumenter-Kabuaran
road segment includes collector roads which have high vehicle traffic, as there are
strategic locations such as schools and markets. In addition, this road segment
becomes the transportation route of embankment material for Kutoarjo-Kroya rail
double track project. Primary data in this research is taken from CV. Adhi Jaya
Counsultant as consultant planner of this project. This research uses Analisa
Komponen method and Asphalt Institute method.
Based on pavement layer thickness analysis, Analisa Komponen method
produced the surface layer of 7.5 cm (Laston MS 340), the base layer of 10 cm
(Laston Atas MS 340), and sub-base layer of 15 cm (Agragate Class B). The
Asphalt Institute produces the surface layer of 5 cm (Laston MS 340), (Laston
Atas MS 340) Base layer of 10 cm, and Agregate Class B Base layer of 15 cm.
The result of pavement analysis using Kenpave program showed that the value of
horizontal strain (Ԑc) of -0,0002958, vertical strain (Ԑt) 0,000679 for Analisa
Komponen method. Then horizontal strain (Ԑc) of -0,0003448, vertical strain (Ԑt)
0,0008011 for Asphalt Institute method. The result of pavement damage analysis
using Asphalt Institute method showed fatigue cracking load repetition (Nf) of
149.311,662 ESAL (Analisa Komponen method) and 90.160,199 ESAL (Asphalt
Institute method). Furthermore, the analysis results indicate the rutting load
repetition (Nd) were 208.240,568 ESAL for Analisa Komponen method and
99.386,444 ESAL for the Asphalt Institute method. The planned load repetition
value were 212,880.8 ESAL (Analisa Komponen) and 208.154.1 (Asphalt
Institute). Fatigue cracking load repetition (Nf) and rutting (Nd) smaller then
planned load repetition (Nr). So it can be concluded that the design of pavement
layer thickness using Analisa Komponen and Asphalt Institute method unable to
retain the planned load traffic and road will be destroy before life plan.
