      Abstract
      This study aims to determine the rate of agriculture land conversion, food security conditions based on aspects of availability and analyze the effect of agriculture land converion to food security conditions. This research was conducted in Kasihan Districts, Bantul Regency with time series data village analysis. The analysis used are; 1) rate analysis, 2) food security analysis based on availability aspect, 3) descriptive and simple linear regression analysis. The data used in this study is secondary data at the village level in 2007 until 2016, obtained from Badan Pusat Statistik of Bantul Regency, Balai Penyuluh Pertanian, and Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil of Bantul Regency. The results showed that; 1) the agriculture land conversion rate in Kasihan Districts is -22.78%, agricultural land area was depreciated 211.58 hectares. The percentage of villages with the highest agriculture land conversion rate is Tamantirto village at a rate of -27.94%. 2) Trend of daily per capita food availability in Kasihan Districts has decreased significantly, with 60% of food security condition is in very vulnerable condition since 2011. 3) The effect of agriculture land conversion to food security ratio with simple linear regression approach in Kasihan Districts showing a regression equation is Y = 1,506 + 0,0014x and 7,1% variable of agriculture land conversion can explain variable of food securiy but not significance in districts level. At the village level only the Bangunjiwo Village's agriculture land conversion is significant against food security with a probability value of 5%.
