      Abstract
Background: Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is a tool used to protect ourself or the body against occupational hazards which technically can reduce the severity of the work accident that occurs. Health workers are required to use PPE to reduce the risk of a work accident due to nosocomial infection. One of the strategy for controlling nosocomial infections is to increase the knowledge, attitudes, behavior of health workers to use PPE. This study aims to determine the effect of education in the use of gloves on paramedic’s knowledge and attitudes in non-hospitalized Primary Health Care at Gamping I and Sewon II Metode: The design of this study was quasi experimental with non randomized control group pretest and posttest design. Subjects of paramedical research working at Puskesmas Gamping I and Sewon II with a total of 32 respondents divided into 16 control groups and 16 treatment groups. Sampling using purposive sampling technique. Data obtained through filling questionnaire knowledge and attitude filled by respondents. Result: The results of this study were obtained from the Wilcoxon Test, ie there was a significant difference in the level of knowledge (P = 0.001) and attitude (P = 0.001) of the treatment group given education. There was also no significant difference in knowledge level (P = 0.157) and attitude (P = 0336) control group that was not given education. In Mann Whitney's test, there was a difference in knowledge change (P = 0.000) and attitude (P = 0.003) between control group and treatment group. Conclution: The conclusion of this research is there’s effect of education on gloves on knowledge and attitude of gloves on paramedics in Puskesmas Gamping I and Sewon II
