      Abstract
      This research examines Gate Store's promotion strategy in increasing sales in 2016. Gate Store is a clothing store that sells premium brands like nike, adidas, vans, and 47 other premium brands in the world. This study uses the online marketing communication theory framework to analyze marketing communications activities conducted by the Gate Store in increasing sales. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. With the source data comes from interviews and documentation. The results showed that instagram as a form of internet marketing can be a tool to attract consumers in buying a product. Instagram in marketing communications activities pay attention to several things related to planning, implementation and evaluation. Important elements to be undertaken include; product selection, theme determination, message determination and post schedule determination.
