      Abstract
      Photo Journalism is a photo produced from a documentation activity. Photo journalism is the result of shooting as coverage of a news on the field that serves to strengthen the text of a news. Journalistic photography began to develop since the 19th century after the discovery of photography. With the passage of time and the development of information technology in Indonesia, came the ethics and ethics of photojournalism. It is set to organize photojournalism as well as a reference for journalists to determine news and photojournalism work. A journalist is required to provide a journalistic work and news that is honest, objective and supported by strong facts. The purpose of this study is to answer the problem formulation is whether the photo journalism that is published on the online media kompas.com edition of 2018 febuari can meet the requirements of journalistic ethics code. Does the photo have the benefits and how the ethics standards of journalistic photos that have been arranged in the homeland and how the ethics of photojournalism according to Islamic perspective. in this study also explains the similarities and differences between them. This research was conducted by collecting data through documentation and observation analyzed using semiotic analysis of Charles Sanders Pierce seen from icon, index and symbol
