      Abstract
This research has a goal to design an installation and data network system and Wi-Fi of an apartment building The Yudhistira. The installation images and network system to facilitate the contractor and the workers in building the apartment. Subjects in this study are residents of the apartment itself, so that residents will be able to enjoy Wi-Fi network. The analysis of the coverage area simulation is done using a tool called Ekahau. The coverage area simulation is intended to see the coverage area coverage of each access point that transmits the Wi-Fi signal with the 2.4 GHz frequency, because the access point that transmits the Wi-Fi signal with the 2.4 GHz frequency will be very vulnerable to interference on several things, one of which is wall / wall. In the apartment itself has concrete walls / walls that can lead to interference from Wi-Fi signal so that the Wi-Fi signal can be weakened because it is blocked by concrete. The results show that the use of 4 access points on the 5th floor and occupancy, and 1 access point on the ground floor is appropriate in the Ekahau simulation test with the signal can be spread evenly, despite signal attenuation due to interference by the concrete wall but the Wi-Fi signal remains can be enjoyed by all residents of the apartment later with a good signal strength, average range -50 dBm.
