      Abstract
      The aim of this research is to get the dose of lemongrass ash and husk ash which effectively control Sitophilus zeamais, and to know the effect of lemongrass ash and husk ash on the quality of corn seed. This research was conducted using single factor experimental method arranged in Complete Random Design (CRD). The treatments that are tested by dosage of lemongrass ash and husk ash which consisted of 6 treatments; 15 gr/100 gr corn seeds, 20 gr/100 gr corn seeds, 25 gr/100 gr corn seeds; and: 7,5 gr/100 gr corn seeds, 10 gr/100 gr corn seeds, 12,5 gr/100 gr corn seeds; Alumunium Phosphide (56%) as positive comparison and control (without pesticide) as negative comparison. The results showed that the treatment of lemongrass ash with a dose of 15 gr/100 gr corn seeds and husk ash with a dose of 7,5 gr/100 gr corn seeds are effective in controlling Sitophilus zeamais. The lemongrass ash and husk ash are not decrease the quality of corn seeds.
