Indonesia is a country that often experience natural disasters in the form of volcanic eruption. The volcano still active one of them is in Yogyakarta that is Mount Merapi. Mount Merapi erupted last in 2010. This eruption disaster caused the flood of lava, ash rain, hot clouds, and burst of hot material that negatively impacted the community and the environment around the disaster area. These impacts include casualties, shelter damaged and the environment around the slopes of Mount Merapi damaged. The existence of many casualties it then necessary socialization of disaster response so that the residents around Mount Merapi can be evacuated safely and smoothly through the evacuation route. The purpose of this research is to know how the current condition of evacuation route, where the evacuation route is important to do evacuation during the disaster and this evacuation route needs to be paid attention to the completeness and feasibility of the road from the evacuation route. This research uses comparative approach method with field survei by looking directly into the field by using blank of road fittings and road damage. The result of this research is the completeness of the evacuation route from HUNTAP Gading to Sindumartani Barracks is still not complete and the road condition is quite good with the road surface rather uneven.
