STABILISASI TANAH LEMPUNG EKSPANSIF DENGAN CAMPURAN KAPUR DAN ABU SEKAM PADI
Abstract
Expansive clay soil is a soil that has great swelling-shrinkage behaviour, this soil will swell in wet season and shrink in dry season. this swelling-shrinkage behaviour causing a different settelment on ground level, hence soil improvement on this kind of soil should be done before a construction job run on it. this study investigate durability test with wetting-drying cycle towards unconfined compressive strength value of soil that stabilized chemically using 12% lime content and rice husk with 1:1 ratio in 7 days of curing with optimum moisture content in the amount of 32,5%. the result of this study showed that as the number of cycle increases the unconfined compressive strength value (qu) will be decreases.
