When build a building, many aspects that must be considered for the building sturdy, so it can be used according to it’s function. One important aspect that is often overlooked is the safety aspect of fire, therefore this study aims to evaluate environmental conditions and rescue facilities in buildings against fire hazard. The building reviewed are the graduate building, E6, E7, and F3 Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta. The research method used in this research is qualitative approach, and the data obtained by doing observation or direct observation to the field and interview with the responsible of the building. The results obtained from this research are the environmental conditions in the graduate building, E6, E7, and F3 is in good condition, where each building got the condition value 51,67%; 50,56%; 52,22%; and 50%. Rescue facilities in the graduate building, E6 and E7 are good, although there are some shortcomings, the condition value of each building are 85,98%; 87,41%; and 87,41%. Rescue facilities in building F3 is good enough with a condition value 65,81%
