      Abstract
      The main idea of language is word. In linguistics, the Word is included in the morphological category. One of morphological process is reduplication. Reduplication is morphological process that repeats the basic word form, repeat throughly or partially and can also change the sounds of words. In Japanese, reduplication called Juufuku. This research is descriptive method with qualitative approach. The techique used literature and note .This research will focused on reduplication words in Japanese text book and dictionary. The purpose of this research is to know the calssification and meaning in the Japanese reduplication words. The result obtained that in Japanese there are two process of reduplication ,(1) whole repetition which had four types of formation, Kanzen no Juufuku with rendaku, Kanzen no Juufuku without rendaku, whole repetition with addition of suffix ~shii, and pseudo reduplication, (2) part repetition. The meaning of Japanese reduplication is plural, emphasis, continuity/repetition, has indirect relation to root word, showed antonym, and showed situation/ feeling.
