      Abstract
      This research is about The Implementation of Learning Cooperatif Method Make A Match in Learning Language and Japanese Literature. The purpose of this study is to know how the process and the response of learners to the application of cooperative learning type of make a match method in learning Japanese Language and Literature. The method of this research is qualitative with descriptive approach. The sample of this research is total sampling. The sample of this research is the the x iis 1 student's of SMAN 2 Yogyakarta, 2017-2018 as many as 32 people. The analysis used of data collection is observation, questionnaires, interview and documentation. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that the application of cooperative type learning make a match on learning Japanese Language and Literature has four paths, that is first introductory flow, core activity, final core activity, and cover. The difficulties experienced by the learner is when looking for a partner and reading the letters (hiragana, katakana, and romaji) on the media card problem and answer cards. The learner's response to the implementation of learning cooperative method make a match in learning Language and Japanese Literature is interesting, fun, and can enhance learner's activity. Therefore, most argue that the implementation of method make a match is suitable for Japanese Language and Literature lessons
