The disputal in South China Sea between China and Philippines force U.S to get involved since Philippine is one of the most important Allies U.S had in Asia. The dispute has been around for decade since Japan imperium ended in China and China started to use it’s historical guidelines areas as before Japan took it from them. The areas known as nine-dash line, and those line covered up other states areas and begin to causing disputes since China stubbornly ignore all of the other countries territory and start building military islands around. U.S act as the world’s police and as the Philippine allies plays an important role in the dispute since China also begin to thrive more power and threaten U.S hegemony in Asia. The writer will illustrating and pointing out U.S role in the dispute and why U.S doing so in this thesis.
