      Abstract
      This study aims to (1) to know the role of PAI teachers (2) to review the personal morality of students in MTs Muhammadiyah Kasihan, (3) to analyze the role of Islamic education teachers in educating students’ personal morality in MTs Muhammadiyah Kasihan, (4) to know the supporting and inhibitting factors of the role of Islamic education teachers in educating the personal morality of students in MTs Muhammadiyah Kasihan. The type of this research is descriptive qualitative research. Resource persons from the research are 3 Islamic education teachers, 1 headmaster, 1 counselling teacher. The technique in data collection are interview method, observation, and document. The technique in data analysis that used by the author is Miles and Huberman model analysis. The results of this study are (1) the role of Islamic education teachers tends to be directed in mentoring and coaching which has good result in its application. (2) personal morality of students in MTs Muhammadiyah Kasihan is still relatively low. The personal morality is still less than the maximum as honesty, trust, consistency (istiqomah), iffah, and syaja'ah. (3) The role of Islamic education teachers in educating personal morality on students in MTs Muhammadiyah Kasihan includes: teachers as mentor, advisor, role model, motivator and story bearer. (4) Inhibiting factor of Islamic education teachers in educating personal morality on students are family and social environment, custom and culture. As for the supporting factor of teacher’s role: Conducting counseling, doing BTQ and Teacher Organization.
