      Abstract
      Substation is a part of a power system that is responsible for collecting electrical energy from a power and distribution it to some consumers.There is a very important aspect in a system of electrical energy distribution process. One part of the substation that have function to deliver electricity to the consumer is a qubicle that has a many installed electrical protection devices such as overcurrent relay (OCR) and fuse cut out (FCO) which is function to detect the current of electrical noise in network system. OCR and FCO will disconnect the Short Circuit on the network by sensing the current of Short Circuit that passes the current setting limit with the working time of the trip which has also been specified. In this final project will be analyzed the coordination placement of OCR and FCO protection tool in Gejayan substation which simulated menggukan software ETAP 12.6 by comparing the OCR and FCO setting value which is mounted on the qubicle on the outgoing side of Gejayan Substation with the value setting that calculated manually. When a short circuit happens, OCR will work by commanding the Circuit Breaker to open with a faster time than FCO. When the OCR is damaged or malfunctioned, the FCO as a backup security will work to protect the equipment on the network.
