DAMPAK SHANGHAI COOPERATION ORGANIZATION (SCO) DALAM PERTUMBUHAN EKONOMI DAN STABILITAS POLITIK KAZAKHSTAN PADA TAHUN 2008-2017
Abstract
This research review the Impact of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) on Kazakhstan Economic Growth and Political Stability In 2008-2017. Kazkahstan's interest in SCO is geopolitics. The combination of two superpower countries, Russia and China, will have an impact on Kazakhstan's geopolitics. Other interests are economics, being in a region that is not commercially profitable making Kazakhstan must work with other countries. Third interest is security. Areas that are landlocked and bordering many countries are then supported by the strengthening of the issue of terrorism and separatism making the issue of security an important issue for Kazksahstan.
This research has theoretically been build using the Neoliberal Institutionalism perspective. This type of research is qualitative research. Data presented on secondary data through literature studies such as books, Journal, Official, thesis, documents, internet and others.
Result of this research is through Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) has a positive impact on Kazakhstan Economic Growth and Political Stability. The relationship between Kazkahstan and SCO is very close. SCO is on the initiative of five countries, one of which is Kazkahstan. SCO has an important role in the politics of Kazakhstan in the East Asia and International. The existence of Kazkshstan was not initially taken into account, this change occurred along with the occurrence of significant economic growth, Kazakhstan is the country with the fastest economic growth in the world. The SCO also has an impact on the political field where Kazakhstan politics is stable in domestic and regional politics
