This research is aimed at finding the Indonesian government's strategy in stemming global terrorism in 2011-2018. The author will also discuss about. In this research, it will explain what strategies the Indonesian government is doing in stemming global terrorism that threatens the security and unrest of the community. The method used in this study is descriptive analysis. Data collection uses two methods, document-based methods and internet-based methods. In this study the author uses the concept of CIST or Countering Ideological Support for Terrorism. The CIST concept is a concept that combines a soft approach and hard approach in terrorism action, namely through strategic counter terrorism, operational counter terrorism and resolving regional conflict.
