      Abstract
      Schizophrenia is a chronic mental disorder that causes the sufferer to experience delussions, hallucinations, chaotic thoughts and behavioural changes. This usually long-lasting condition is often interpreted as a mental disorder considering the difficulty of the sufferer distinguishing between reality and mind itself. The purpose of this research is to facilitatevthe nurse while performing custody especially in the inpatient room, and for more intensive care. This tool uses magnetic sensors are detector when the door is open, the the PIR sensor as a detector of the patient’s motion blur, and the light as an indicator. The results of test data abtained by calculating the distance then the sensor can detect from testing this tool in get the result the magnetic sensor can detect up to 1 cm, and PIR sensor can detect up to 5,5 meters
