STRATEGI PAKISTAN DALAM PEREBUTAN WILAYAH KASHMIR : ALIANSI DENGAN CINA (SEJAK 1965) DAN RUSIA (SEJAK 2014)
Abstract
The separation of Pakistan from India sparked
conflicts. The most highlighted conflict to date is the seizure of
the Kashmir border region. The purpose of this study is to
analyze the strategies Pakistan uses in dealing with the
conflict with India. This writing uses qualitative methods with
literature research and secondary data. The concept used to
analyze the conflict is by using the Alliance Theory. In the
theory of alliance has two concepts about the pattern of
alliance, namely balancing and bandwagoning. Then the
balancing alliance theory was used by researchers in
analyzing the strategy of Pakistan in the face of conflict with
India since the seizure of the Kashmir region. The result of the
analysis in this study is that since the separation between
India and Pakistan both countries are trying to increase their
respective strengths. One of the strategies used by Pakistan to
strengthen itself in facing India is by building alliances with
superpower countries, China and Russia. The main form of
cooperation is in the military field. But besides that Pakistan is
also cooperating in the field of economy and infrastructure
with China.
