      Abstract
      Ignition system is a system that very important in a motorcycle which have a function to set mix fuel burning process and air in cylinder. For getting a maximum result and perfect on ignition process, then also requiredreplacement part such as CDI racing and Koil racing. The replacement of CDI racing is for increase machine performance, like torque and power enhancement. Generally, people only replace the part without knoeing power and torque,also influence of the part in long term. This research aimed to know the difference of power, torque and the use of fuel by Yamaha Scorpio z 225 cc which use CDI programmable with ignition timing variation. This research result expected to give information and knowledge to people from ignition racing performance. Research method used in this research is set the ignition timing that have determined on CDI programmable. The ignition timing variation that have determined then used on dynamometer testing and the use of fuel. Dynamometer testing had did on 4000 – 11500 RPM for power and torque testing. In other hand, the use of fuel testing had did on +/- 40 km/hour speed in 4 km distance. Based on the research result, the best firework spark on variation CDI BRT I-Max with standart Koil because firework is constant not moved in temperature 8000 – 9000 K. The highest torque gotten on variation CDI BRT I-Max and Koil TDR YZ with torque amount 21,86 N.m on 7234 RPM machine rotation and power amount 24,1 HP on 8872 RPM power rotation. In other hand, the use of fuel that low on variation CDI BRT I-Max with Koil TDR YZ amount 36,37 km/liter.
