| dc.description | Latar belakang: Konsep Academic Health Center (AHC) merupakan
gabungan dari fungsi pendidikan, penelitian dan pelayanan kesehatan.
Fakultas Kedokteran dan Ilmu Kesehatan Universitas Muhammadiyah
Yogyakarta (FKIK UMY) merupakan institusi pendidikan dengan prodi
Pendidikan Dokter, Kedokteran Gigi, Keperawatan, dan Farmasi. Konsep
AHC sangat potensial diterapkan di Indonesia khususnya di FKIK UMY
untuk meningkatkan kualitas Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) lulusan sesuai
dengan Standar Kompetensi Dokter Indonesia tahun 2012 (SKDI 2012) dan
WHO 5 star doctors. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran
FKIK UMY terhadap persiapan SDM dalam mewujudkan konsep AHC.
Subjek dan Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian kualitatif
dengan melakukan wawancara pada 6 responden dari perwakilan dekanat
FKIK UMY, beberapa staf Pendidikan Dokter dan Keperawatan FKIK UMY.
Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan April - Mei 2018 yang bertempat di
FKIK UMY. Hasil transkrip wawancara diolah menggunakan metode
deskriptif.
Hasil: Peran FKIK UMY dalam mewujudkan konsep AHC terdiri dari aspek
organisasi yaitu birokrasi, aspek kebijakan yaitu peraturan, aspek finansial
yaitu keuangan yang mendukung dan aspek sumber daya yaitu SDM
berkompeten dan RS pendidikan. Konsep AHC dapat memudahkan peran
FKIK UMY dalam menjalankan Tridarma Perguruan Tinggi dan diharapkan
memiliki organisasi gabungan antara pengelola FKIK UMY, pengelola
rumah sakit pendidikan serta melibatkan peran Majelis Pembinaan Kesehatan
Umum (MPKU).

Kesimpulan: Peran FKIK UMY sampai pada tahap penyusunan payung
hukum dan koordinasi dengan MPKU dan rumah sakit pendidikan untuk
mewujudkan konsep AHC.

| dc.description.abstract | Background: The concept of Academic Health Center (AHC) is a
combination of education, research and health services functions. Faculty of
Medicine and Health Sciences Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta
(FKIK UMY) is educational institution with study program of Medical,
Dentistry, Nursing, and Pharmacy. The concept of AHC is potentially applied
in Indonesia especially in FKIK UMY to improve the quality of human
resources in accordance with Competency Standard of Indonesian Doctor
2012 (SKDI 2012) and WHO 5 star doctors. The objective of this research is
to determine the role of FKIK UMY towards preparation of human resources
in realizing the concept of AHC.
Subject and Method: This study used a qualitative research design by
interviewing 6 respondents from representatives the Dean of FKIK UMY,
several teaching staff of Medical and Nursing of FKIK UMY. This research
was conducted in April - May 2018 which is located in FKIK UMY. The
results of interview transcripts were processed using descriptive method.
Result: The role of FKIK UMY in attempt to realize the concept of AHC
based on 4 aspects consisting of organizational aspects namely bureaucracy,
policy aspects namely regulations, financial aspects namely financial
support, and aspects of resources namely competent human resources and
teaching hospital. The concept of AHC may facilitate the role of FKIK UMY
in implementing the Tridarma of higher education and it is expected to have
merger organization among FKIK UMY manager with teaching hospital
manager and involving the role of Health Advisory of Muhammadiyah
Central Board (MPKU).

Conclusion: The role of FKIK UMY has just reached the stage of legal
collaboration and coordination with MPKU and teaching hospital to realize
the concept of AHC.
