      Abstract
      The term off-label drug refers to the prescribed medication not in accordance with what is written in the drug label registered on the drug regulatory agency authorized. There are several studies that show the high prevalence of off-label drug use in padiatric that reaches 50%. Off-label drug indication is an off-label drug category with the prevalence of use, which reached 60% in some studies on pediatric. This study aims to determine the prevalence of off-label drug indication prescription in hospitalized pediatric patients at Jogja Hospital. Method of this study is descriptive with cross-sectional approach and retrospective data retrieval in pediatric patient at Jogja Hospital. Data were collected from 243 patients medical records which are include in inclusion criteria. Data were analyzed by reference the National Drug Information Center and related journals on the use of off-label drugs in pediatrics. The results of study show that, of 243 pediatric patients in Jogja Hospital included in the inclusion criteria were 16.05% of patients receiving off-label drug indications. Of the 886 prescribed medications there were 4.63% of drugs included in the off-label drug category indications include domperidone ( 3.95%), folic acid (0.34%), and ondansetron (0.34%).
