      Abstract
      Ear is an organ with the capability of detecting or recognizing voice which also plays various roles related to body’s balance and position. Ear is highly prone to noise. There are two general causes to hearing loss, those are conductive hearing loss and sensorineural hearing loss. To prevent hearing impairment, hearing monitoring is necessary to be done. Frequently, a test on hearing function is done periodically by ENT doctor at hospital. However, conducting the test repeatedly is considered less effective because it consumes times and is relatively expensive. Thus, a portable tool to diagnose hearing loss earlier is designed and is expected to be used independently and repeatedly. The tool is equipped with SD Card storage and therefore the data result can be consulted to doctor for further diagnosis. The tool uses arduinouno R3 control, frequency generator using IC XR2206. The highest level of error occurs on the frequency of 8000 Hz that is 0,52%. However, all of the systems on the tool have generally functioned well and the error is still tolerated within 10%. From the data result, the tool is recommended to diagnose hearing loss early.
