      Abstract
      This research was conducted in the City of Ternate Bappeda. The purpose of this study was to find out how the influence of situational leadership style on employee performance and knowing the situational leadership style that most influences the performance of Ternate City Bappeda employees. The population used as a sample is 60 respondents. The data used are primary data and secondary data. The statistical method used is multiple linear regression by testing classical assumptions. One of them is by testing the R square value to see the coefficient of determination. T test is used to determine whether partially or individually variable situational leadership style influences performance variables. The results of this study indicate that simultaneously the situational leadership style variables affect the performance variable, it can be seen with a significant level of the situational leadership style variable 0.000 <0.05. From the results of the study also obtained the coefficient of determination or adjusted r square with a value of 0.455 or 45.5%, which means that there is an effect of situational leadership variables on the performance variable of 45.5% while the other 54.5% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study . The results of the situational leadership style research that most influences the performance of employees at the Ternate City Regional Development Planning Agency is that the Telling-Directing (Instruction) variable is the variable that has the greatest regression coefficient value of 0.284 rather than the Telling-Directing variable coefficient.
