PENGARUH PERCERAIAN ORANG TUA TERHADAP PRESTASI PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM ANAK
Abstract
This research aims to find out the effects of parental divorce toward students’ achievement in Islamic education at SMA (Senior High School) Muhammadiyah 6 Yogyakarta. In addition, this study also aims to prove whether there is a correlation between the divorce of parents and the achievements of students in Islamic education.
This research carried out quantitative method with descriptive quantitative approach. Purposive random sampling was used as the sampling technique. The data of the research were collected from questionnaires and documentation. Then the obtained data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and the hypothesis testing was done using simple regression (T-test).
The results of the study are as follows: (1) The effect of parental divorce on the students of SMA Muhammadiyah 6 Yogyakarta tends to have an impact on the school environment and learning that is equal to 35% or 9 students. (2) The students’ achievement at SMA Muhammadiyah 6 Yogyakarta in learning Islamic education tends to be high that is equal to 50% or 11 students. (3) The amount of sig in the divorce variable is equal to 0.008 and t valueon the divorce variable is 2, 949, so it can be concluded that sig <0, 05 and t value> t table. It is proven that there is a significant effect between parental divorce and learning achievement with coefficient of dissemination of 8, 5%. It means that there are 91, 5 % students' achievement atSMA Muhammadiyah 6 Yogyakarta whose parents divorced are influenced by other factors.
