PENGARUH PERHATIAN ORANG TUA DAN PERGAULAN TEMAN SEBAYA TERHADAP KENAKALAN REMAJA SMP MUHAMMADIYAH 2 GAMPING
Abstract
This study aims to find out: 1) parental attention, 2) peer interaction and 3) juvenile delinquency at SMP (Junior High School) Muhannadiyah 2 Gamping. In addition, this Study also aims to prove whether there is an effect of parental attention on juvenile delequency, peer interaction on juvenile delinquency as well as an effect of parental attention and peer interaction on juvenile delinquency at SMP Muhammdiyah 2 Gamping.
This study carries out a quantitative mothed with a quentitqtf descriptive approach. Simple random sampling was used as the sampling technique.the data of the sudy were collected fro questionnaires and documentation. Then the obtained data were analyzed using descriptive analysisiand hypothesis testing using multiple regressions (t-test nd f-test).
The results of this study are as follow: (1) The parental attention of SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Gamping tends to bepositive that is equal 41,7% of the total respondents or 30 people. (2) High peer interaction of the students of SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Gamping tends to be negative that equal to 47.2% of the number of respondentsor 34 students. (3) The juvenilw delinquency of students at SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Gamping is likely to be high at 38.9% of the number of respondent or 28 students.(4) The sig amount of parental attention variable is 0.001 and the tvalue > of parental attention variable is 3.574. thus, it is seen that sig < 0.05 ant tvalue > ttable. It is councluded that there s asignificant effect of the parental attention on the juvenile delinquency of the students at SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Gamping. (5) the sig amount of peer association variable is0.019 ang tvalue of peer interaction variable is 2.409. therefore, it can be seen that ig <0.05 and tvalue> ttable it is concluded that there is a significant effect of peer interaction on the juvenile deliuqency of students at the SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Gamping. (6) the sig amount is 0.000 and F value is 129.591. It is seen that sig <0.05 dan F value > F table. It can be concluded that there is a significant effect of parental attention and peer interaction on the juvenile delinquency with coefficient deternaton 79%. It means that there are 21% of there factor affecting juvenile deliquncy.
