PENGEMBANGAN INSTRUMEN PELAYANAN BIMBINGAN AKADEMIK DENGAN PENDEKATAN CARING
Abstract
Background: Academic counseling services are one of the important programs from the academic and student fields in a higher education institution. The success of this service program relies heavily on the attitude of caring given by the academic supervisor to the student's guidance. Through this service program academic advisor can conduct assessment and identification of problems, formulate interventions and provide solutions to solve problems faced by students, besides the purpose of this program is to help students to graduate on time. To be able to measure the provision of services, it is necessary to make a service instrument with the caring approach. Method: This research is part of mixed method research, namely from the stages of qualitative research at the development stage and testing instrument validity. In this study the validity of the instrument involved the assessment by experts, the number of experts involved in this study were as many as 2 people. Results: Of the 24 question items, there were 22 valid question items with i-CVI values of more than 0.78 and the mean value of i-CVI related to relevance, clarity, simplicity and ambiguity of the sentence that is equal to 0.96. Conclusion: The instrument of academic counseling services uses a caring approach based on 10 carative factors with 22 question items valid, the instrument can be tested to be able to see its reliability.
