PERAN GURU BIMBINGAN DAN KONSELING ISLAM DALAM MENGATASI KENAKALAN REMAJA DI SMA MUHAMMADIYAH 5 YOGYAKARTA
Abstract
This study aims to determine the role of Islamic school counselors in SMA Muhammadiyah 5 Yogyakarta.
This research is a field study with qualitative approach. Data was collected by observation, interviews and documentation. Data were analyzed through series of steps, namely data collection, data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing.
The results of this study indicate that the implementation of Islamic guidance and counseling program at SMA Muhammadiyah 5 Yogyakarta has been carried out in accordance with the mental development and the needs of the students. The role of the Islamic school counselors in overcoming juvenile delinquency in SMA Muhammadiyah 5 Yogyakarta focus on the three functions of guidance and codes of Islamic counseling program which include preventive, preservative and curative actions.
