      Abstract
      Population may cause some problems in transportation system such as traffic jam and transportation safety, therefore it makes people starting to use the mass transportation, it can produce increase the train operation. Due to increase of operation the safety levels at level crossing should be reviewed, both in infrastructure and the condition of railway-highway intersection. This study aimes to inspect and evaluated modes such as train the safety levels at level crossings JPL 714 KM 530±679 Sedayu Road, Bantul, Yogyakarta. This study mass the infrastructure at level crossings, delays and queue the caused by crossing, traffic flow, and the conditions of pavement structures which refer to the Regulation of Mines of Transportation Regulation Number 36 Year 2011. The results showed that 1) the traffic flow on Monday, March 12 2018 was found to be 507.2 skr/day from the south direction and 516.4 skr/day from the north direction, on Friday, March 16 2018 was found to be 638 skr/day from the south direction and 836 skr/day from the north direction; 2) the average delay is 110.33 seconds on Monday and 102.63 seconds on Friday with the longest queue length of about 50 meters from the south direction and shortest queue 10 meters from the north direction; 3) the average index of road pavement structure condition (PCI) on Sedayu Road is found to be 79.775% as very good category.
