      Abstract
      This research aims to examine how much the level of Islamic financial literacy and to know whether or not the influence of independent variables, namely sex, age, marital status, education, employment, income and expenditure on the dependent variable is Islamic financial literacy. This type of research is quantitative research with the sampling technique using non-random sampling conducted in the community in Sleman Regency. Data collection in this study using the Guttman scale model questionnaire method which was distributed to 100 respondents.The results of this study indicate that the level of sharia financial literacy of the people in Sleman Regency is 56.49%, which means that the classification of financial literacy of the people in Sleman Regency belongs to the category of less literate. In addition, the independent variable (X) in this case is gender age, marital status, and expenditure do not have an insignificant influence on Islamic financial literacy.While the level of education and employment does not have a significant influence on Islamic financial literacy. Unlike the case with other financial variables, the level of income has a significant influence on financial literacy.
