      Abstract
      In an increasingly modern era, it is now necessary for industries of oil & gas plants, petrochemical plants and power plants that need to mature planning in establishing the right piping system construction in order to maintain the quality of their production processes.. By utilizing existing technology, the construction of existing piping systems in the plant, can be achieved well in a faster time. One of them by using computer-based software applications that SmartPlant 3D (SP3D).SmartPlant 3D software application (SP3D) is one application that can provide information in the form of complete details of a plant design. In using SP3D applications, the data needed for modeling are engineering drawings including 2D equipment drawings, 2D P & ID drawings, 2D structure drawings, 2D plot plan drawings, and 2D piping isomteric drawings. Modeling begins by logging in to the SP3D application, then creating a hierarchy, after which modeling can be done for equipment, piping and structure. After doing the modeling, the next step is to estimate the weight of each component of the piping system, structure and equipment. The weight of the piping system components can be searched using the Pipedata-Pro application version 7.02.0031 and the weight of the equipment can be searched using calculations. The results of the modeling using software SmartPlant 3D (SP3D) including 2D and 3D general plan drawings, 2D plot plan drawings, 2D and 3D equipment drawings, 3D piping and drawings isometric piping, 2D and 3D structure drawings. Then there is the material take off (MTO) from the piping and structure that contains information about the component type, component specifications, component dimensions, component materials and component weight. The total weight of the components of piping systems, structure and equipment in a row are 13683,11 kg, 102,889.91 kg and 110558,44 kg.
