      Abstract
Human treatment of nature can affect the good or bad impact that will be caused. In addition to its resources, nature also has a dangerous impact on human survival that is a natural disaster. One of the rivers that divides the city of Yogyakrata is the Code River. Flooding becomes one of the issues that should be considered, because it can be a serious problem if not addressed early on. This study aims to determine the level of risk of flood disaster in the watershed Code area. Hazard level factors, vulnerability and capacity levels are factors that affect flood risk levels. Data on each parameter were obtained from interviews and questionnaires to the community and related government agencies. Scoring, weighting and map generation with geographic information system (GIS) is a method used in this study. The research method refers to Perka BNPB No.02 2012. The map is made using overlay method. Flood hazard level in this study as many as 14 districts included in the category of low class, 3 sub-districts entering the middle class and 1 subdistrict enter the high class. And for the vulnerability level analysis of 1 sub-district included in the low class category, 17 sub-districts enter the middle class, and no sub-districts are in the high class category. Then for the results of the analysis of the capacity level of 16 sub-districts included in the high class category and 2 sub-districts included in the category of medium class. From this research it can be concluded that the flood risk level in the watershed Code area fall into low category category. Due to flood capacity levels in each sub-districts are generally included in high class while low and medium flood hazard and vulnerability levels.
