      Abstract
      Giving a hospital bracelet to a baby in an attempt to avoid the exchange of a baby during treatment which is still the responsibility of the hospital. However, in the usage of this bracelet, it is easily removed and replaced by anyone, hence the security is not guaranteed. Since of that, the reseacher has the aim to create a newborn identification tool by using a fingerprint system as its ID, hence it can improve the safety on infant patient in hospitals. In this research, the tool is designed to identify newborns with a fingerprint system. The newborn fingerprint will be scanned by using fingerprint sensor then the fingerprint photo goes to the arduino microcontroller to be changed to ID, then the ID will be sent to the computer via bluetooth HC-05 and then enter the baby’s data and their baby’s data also their ID’s are stored in the database. From the 60 trials, The result were 100% approciate all of the menu were running well as same as to the program that was made. The tools can be functioned properly with the distance up to 10m.
