The writing of this scientific work aims to describe the roles of Human Rights Watch in dealing with the crisis that occurred against Rohingya ethnic groups in Myanmar. This study uses qualitative research methods and secondary data collection techniques or literature review. As for the background of this writing is because of the high level of violations related to human rights that occur throughout the world. The humanitarian crisis in Myanmar is one example. The humanitarian crisis in Myanmar is one of the targets for human rights defenders around the world, one of which is Human Rights Watch. Bad treatment received by Rohingya ethnicity made Human Rights Watch intervene in overcoming this. The results of the study found that Human Rights Watch in dealing with the Rohingya crisis in Myanmar had two roles: micro role and macro role
